I thought I managed installing DNN but soon the app crashed.
I cannot install it again because of the many problems with SQLServer. I even bought an expensive book and folowed their installation procedure but nothing seems to work.
Can someone tell me please how to create and configure the database so DNN can connect to it? I get the folowing message:

Connectie Fout(en):
Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 14
Number: 18456
Message: Sql login failed

I use WPI 2.0 to install DNN.
Is it possible to connect to a MYSQL database instead of MSSQLServer(Express)? I get a headache of the latter.
Thanks in advance.

If you choose to use MYSQL you will need a data provider:

Would you mind telling what you did to make it work? I have the exact same problem, and those links didn't help me...

I'm using SQL Server 2008 R2
(NOT express)
