I followed all the instructions in the starter kit, and then tried to run it in VS 2005 using ctrl+F5. But unfortunately getting "Could not load type DotNetNuke.Common.Global" error message.
What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?

Sounds like you might not have your web.config in place.  This usually happens when you try to load the source version of DNN.  Regardless, the fix is easy.  Make a copy of the Release.config file in the root of your website, and rename it as web.config.  This should get you up and running, and to the web-based installation wizard.

Hi Will,
Thanks for your response.

I tried your fix and it still gives me the same error. 
FYI - I am trying to run it from another machine. 

Any other ideas?
