Hi All,

I am using DNN 5.4 community and there is a new requirement for a configurable footer image possible on portal to portal basis , just like we can do change the header logo.

Is there any skin object that currently serves this purpose?. I was wondering if i could add the html in side the copy right text area and this would in turn cause to change the footer area on portal to portal basis. But the footer text is limited to 100 chars, and there is no much flexibility in modifying the same.

I really appreciate any help in this regards.

Many Thanks,
Balu.

you might add a pane in the same area and add a HTML module to be displayed on all pages without showing the container (module settings).

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply. But will it be possible to display and configure these module in the admin only pages?, i.e like the edit user page?

Thanks,

You could add this to the skin
<img src="<%=PortalSettings.HomeDirectory%>MyFooter.png" alt="Footer" />

Then the user only has to upload a file called MyFooter.png to the root of the portal folder and it will show up in the skin
