I have a custom module that is supposed to send in some information from unregistered users.

Unfortunately none of the controls are working for unregistered users.  Not the calendar, not the file browsing control, not the upload button, not even the form submission button.

Any ideas?  I'm baffled by this.  Any registered user type can use it, but unregistered users can't even pick a date.

Thanks

-Z

Did you define permissions for unregistered users in the settings?

Yes, that was the first thing I checked....

The odd thing is that it seems to be randomly refreshing the page.  I can get values into the textboxes, but pressing the button wipes a random number of them, if the button works.  The calendar works kind of randomly, as does the file upload.  It's as though the form is being randomly called to refresh itself by DNN, or something, but only when the user is unregistered.

Unless your module code is preventing unregistered users from interacting with the module and assuming that you have registered the module control in question as having control Type of "View", I suspect that the behavior you are seeing is due to module output cacheing. In the module's settings (Page Settings-->Cache Settings section), make sure that you have set the Cache Provider to none-specified (DNN 5.x) and/or set the Cache Duration to 0.

1) What browser do you use? In the old version of Google Chrome we had something similar: some controls disappear and was not active.
2) Also another idea - may be your browser disables JavaScript. I know it sounds crazy, but better to check.
