Hope someone can help

I want to generate search results for DNN with embeded links. I call NavigateURL which works fine if you manual call the search reindex because there is a HTTPContext and portalsettings are defined for the call to NavigateURL.

However what emerges is that when the scheduler calls to reindex, the context is gone and the portalsettings are empty, hence the call to NavigateURL fails.

Ideally the link would be generated with the correct portal alias when the search results are displayed but that would require the current portal alias to be a token that would be translated when the search results are displayed and I'm not sure if that is the case? Can somebody clarify perhaps?

Otherwise the approach needs to be to create portal settings object and provide this to navigateURL, assuming the first portal alias in the portal collection is the correct one (I have the portalID and tabID required). Anyone any thoughts on how to create portalsettings object from just the PortalID? Is there an API call or can it be done by calling other api's to populate the portalsettings object sufficently to satisfy NavigateURL's requirements?

Appreciate some thoughts on this.
