I was setting up a new website and have not set up any backup scheme so far. Alas, I installed the onyatech events module and I now get an error on all of my pages. I have updated the web.config file to give more data and sure enough it is complaining about the module I just added. You can see the error at www.texasfencingacademy.org/dotnetnuke/default.aspx. Is ther a way to go into go daddy's files and prevent the module from beige looked at? I cant even get to the guy to uninstall it. It hasn't been added to any pages yet but just having it in the dnn framework is blowing up dnn. Any help would be appreciated. I'm relatively new to dnn ( I inherited a website built under it and liked the features so much I decided to update my own).

Help.....

I would suggest to contact the vendor.  There are some methodes that are different how it is Build to compile the modules code.  For all methodes you need FTP access to your DNN files.

WAP module:
Go to the bin folder of your DNN instance and search to the DLL file/s your modur module have installed and delete it.

WSP module:
Modify your web.config file on the rrot folder of your DNN instance and search to the registered Directory on the codeSubDirectories section. Delete the entry for your module.
Go to the App_Code file folder and delete the folder of your installed module.

Thanks for your help. Is there a way to tell from the error reporting what type of build it was?

......
[BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'OnyakTech.Events.WS' or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded.]
......

you can see the full error report by going to www.texasfencingacademy.org/dotnetnuke/default.aspx

Also, is there a concern just removing the binaries for this module? Specifically, will DNN just not find them and continue to come up? Thanks for your help. I have a ticket into the company regarding this and hopefully they will come online this morning. I ran into this late yesterday and their help line had already shut down.
