Hi Everybody,

I'm new in DNN... well first I explain about the context of my problem... We have DNN installed and functioning. Before installed DNN we already had a WebSite for sales. Now we want to use DNN as a Logon System  where every user that wants to use the WebSite for Sales, first should loggin to DNN and then inside DNN we think to set a link to de WebSite to sales. The problem is that we don't know how DNN makes the validation of log of users to replicate this in the WebSite for sales. I mean that how can we validate that the request of the Website Sales is comming from DNN? Is there any sessión saved in the DNN Database that we can read to validate? Or what mechanism uses DNN to validate the logon? Where we can search any information?

Thanks a lot for your responses

Logging into your sales system using DNN really relies on the way your sales system works.  If you use the IFrame module you can use tokens, which I believe include login name to pass a querystring to the iFrame page, that would be your sales site.

You could also do something similar using placeholder tokens in the Text/HTML module.  From a programming stand point you could do something like at the following URL.  http://www.byteblocks.com/post/2009/1...

You may want to work with your own provider, this can help give a high level idea of how to build one and also how the current provider works:
