Hello,

I feel I have tired absolutely everyting now. I hav played with collation, iis settings, folder permissions etc. But I can't get past this messeage  in the installations wizard:

Installing Database - Version 05.00.00...FAILURE ERROR: See C:\DotNetNuke\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\05.00.00.log.resources for more information

This file doesn't exist! An guidance on what to check is appreciated?

there seem to be an issue executing SQL script, i.e. you need to make sure the SQL server account specified in your web.config has been granted dbowner permission for the blank database you created.

Hello,

Thank your for your quick reply. I'm no expert in SQL Server but as far as I can see I have created a user called dnn_sa added it to the database with Db Role and Schema owner as DB_Owner. I have logged on myself with this user and altered the DotNetNuke DB to test and that works fine. In desperation I have also tried to grant dnn_sa everything... but no luck yet. Any other ideas?

I am also encountering the exact same issue and have tried all the same steps above.  Did you ever discover a solution?

How do connection strings in your web.config file look like (please don't post the password)?
