Wondering if anyone else has run into login issues using regular (forms) authentication in IE. We have had some customers reporting that when they log into the site it acts as if it accepts thier login but then continues to as if they are not actually logged in (denying access to specific pages, etc). They attempt multiple times with the same result.

I have experienced this on one other DNN site before it was also the Professional Edition. In my experience with this not only did the above happen but also the opposite. When I would want to log out I click the link and it takes but doesn't actually log me out.   Doesn't seem to happen in other browsers just, IE and it doesn't seem to be an issue in DNN Community Edition.

The only solution that we have been able to give at this point is to close IE and start over or use a different browser. This is clearly not the best options and not what the customer wants to hear.

Environment:
IE 7/8
DNN Professional Edition

Thanks for any insight.

Just to verify. Is this happening with the Standard DNN login or one of the other providers?

I haven't personally heard of any problems with Pro vs Community as far as login goes but I'll see if I can find out if anyone else has heard of the problem.
