A clients DNN site has a custom login page (with a User account module on it) and last night one of their admin users set the view permissions on the login module to "admin only" then logged out. And now, of course, the login page doesn't show the module anymore, so no one can login, including admins.

Is there anyway to get logged back in? The most recent DB backup is weeks old, so that isn't a great option. I do have access to the DB itself via the hosting control panel...

Thanks for any suggestions.

Jim

Alternately, is there any way to revise the Admin Settings to use the "standard" login page by updating the DB directly?

Thanks.

you need to modify directly the database, go to Portals table and set logintab to null, eventually you need to repeat it for Portallocalization table.

"eventually you need to repeat it for Portallocalization table."

Does that mean that I should do the same thing in the Portallocalization table as well?

 Thanks.

I'm looking in the " Portals" table and I don't see a "logintab" entry, but I do see "logintab" in the "Portallocaliztion" table. I also have a warning in the SQL editor:

Warning! This table does not have a primary key defined. Updating or deleting data rows using this tool may have unpredictable results (including affecting multiple rows if their data content is similar to the selected row).

Should I be concerned about this?
