I'll trying modifying the default page, that's not a bad idea.  I just wonder why it is that I seem to be the only person experiencing this.  Maybe it's because I'm using asp.net 4?  I've had at least one other DNN issue with asp.net 4, but to be fair, I think the problem really lies with Telerik.  I found that the default html editor wasn't working correctly and giving me all sorts of problems, but when I switched from Telerik's editor to FCKEditor, they were all resolved.

Oh well, I'm too lazy to change the asp.net versions on my dev and production servers to test it at this point.

I've been having the same problem. I did a copy/paste with your fix but it didn't work, so I may have missed something.
Would like to apply this to default.aspx like Josh suggest, but again I must be missing something.
 Thank you so much for any help.
