How do I insert a javascript snippet in HTML module? There is an "insert code snippet" option but I do not know how to use it.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Steve

In the rich text editor, switch to the HTML view at the bottom left of the editor.  Or at the top of the editor switch to the basic text box.  You should be able to paste your javascript right in.

yo should use the plain text editor, which prevents scripts being filtered by the rich text provider.

So, there is no way to allow a user to post javascript into an HTML module with using the "Basic Text Box"? This works fine until the user needs to switch back to "Rich Text Editor" to do some editing.

If you are using the telerik html editor provider there is a way to alter the config.xml file for the radeditor to include the AllowScripts property.
You need to manually locate the configdefault.xml file in the telerik provider config folder and add the property allowscripts and set it to true.

Look in the path \Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Telerik\Config

and add <property name="AllowScripts">true</property> as the last property just before the </configuration> tag

This is much more easily achieved in dnn600 since it is now a checkbox setting in the HTML Editor Manager.
