Sorry I have no experience of Portal Administrator problems. I've got to say that providing some detail behind this will make it significantly easier to solve the problem.

In any case, try running this query in the Host/SQL dialogue and let us know what the results are. This is based on a guess as to what the issue may be.

Select * from {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}lists where listname = 'timeinterval'

I have been looking in the Schedule lists, could it be one of the schedules that are never run?

Run this query select PortalId,RegisteredRoleId from {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}portals  where portalid = 1 and this query select RoleID, PortalID, RoleName from {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}roles where rolename = 'Registered Users'

No it is nothing to do with schedule.
