I have a request to do a site that is basically a "bulletin board in the sky" where the various members of a club can make entries and view the board from their own computers. I'm just starting to get into DNN and from everything I've read this should be relatively simple with DNN so I'm planning to make this my first DNN site. I'd just like some confirmation, though, from people with DNN experience that this is indeed a relatively simple thing to do with DNN and there isn't some hidden "gotcha."     Does it sound like a simple project for DNN ?  Any suggestions for how you would do it would also be most welcome.

Thanks for your input.
Steve

there are a number of modules available, starting with blog, Forums or Form and List

Thanks.  I'll check all those out.  What about just exposing a simple table to modification by members?  Would that require a specialty module or could it be done from the core DNN?

By the way, one thing that would help me up the DNN learning curve is a tutorial where someone actually builds a simple site from start to finish with DNN.   Is there anything like that around?

Thanks
Steve

exposing a simple custom table can be done using Form and List module.
