I am using the DNN Feedback module from Codeplex and it works well.

However it seems to be using the GMT time zone when it saves feeback and my site is set for centrat time (GMT -6) and I am sure my workstation is set right and I am sure the server the site is on is set right.

What am I msiing as far as the settings???

In Feedback v 5.00.02, the date/time the feedback is submitted is stored in the database as the SQL Server time. When the date/time of submission (CreatedOnDate) is displayed in the Feedback comments module, a time-zone offset calculation is applied with the fallback being the offset specified in Site Settings when the user is unauthenticated or an authenticated user has not properly set their preferred time zone in their user profile. I have seen some problems in other modules with this approach when the SQL Server is located in a different time zone than the web server or if both servers are located in a different time zone than that set for the portal in Site Settings. There is also often a one hour difference due to improper detection of whether or not daylight savings is in effect - particularly if the time zone where the web server is located observes daylight time differently than that where the SQL Server or user is located.

I would try setting the time zone of the site (in Site Settings) to that of the SQL Server location and see what effect that has. You may want to log this problem in the Feedback project's Issue Tracker on CodePlex: http://dnnfeedback.codeplex.com

starting with DNN 6, modules should move to using UTC instead of server time - the new user time zone allows proper conversion to user time including DST. Of course, this applies to modules supporting only DNN 6.0 and up.
