i'm currently working on trying to set up a new site for my online games guild, and so far everything is working out i'm currently looking for a transparent skin for the main body of the page something like http://premoguild.com/forums/portal.php  i know that the DDN store as a lot of them but i just don't have the kind of cash. So i was wondering if any one out there might know how i can go about doing this with out spending a ton of money.

You will need to create the style with Transparent PNG images.  When you slice up the style, make sure you remove the site background.  If you need help, let me know.

Pieter instead of using an PNG you could also try using css on a div filter:alpha(opacity=50); -moz-opacity:0.5; -khtml-opacity: 0.5; opacity: 0.5; keep the order and it works on all browsers hope this helps Marcel
