I would suggest to save the word file as a pdf (which is possible from Word since version 2010), and expose this in the IFrame, or use a module that displays PDF documents in a more decent way.

BTW: Is there something like this? See http://www.innsbruck-informiert.at/he... and click the "Expand" button...

thanks for the hint... The answer is no, this looks too much as an Iframe... What I am looking for is more the cool stuff as the link above shows.

I was referring to Ste's note as what i understood from it that, requirement is to upload document and to show the content of the document.
The link you mentioned looks cool..but does it showing the actual document not the image format of the document?

I am quite sure it shows the document and not an image. You may zoom without quality loss, you can search for words in the text etc.
