Hi

We are having some issues with editing permissions. We have a page with a module on it that is viewable by the public and not viewable by registered users. The related permissions are all users have green viewable tick and registered users are not viewable red cross. The problems we are having related to editing with registered users and administrators.

We have registered users on the site which are content editors. We have set up a role eg. content-edit1 and added the registered users to this group. The module in question is set so registered users can't see it but role content-edit1 can edit the module. The problem is when a person from this group logs in the module disappears, so it is recognising them as a registered user but not a user of content-edit1 role.  For testing we added them as administrators, but the same problem occurred as they are recognised as registered users.

We believe this to be a bug, but could anyone shed any light? or help in anyway?

Cheers

Gareth

instead of using revoke permissions, grant permissions to "unauthenticated users" only. There are known issues with revoking permissions for registered users and generic roles.
