I have an inherited DNN 4+ contact module and I want to use that module in the new DNN 5 site I created. How do I import it from the DNN 4 site to the DNN 5 site.

On the DesktopModules\Contacts, I could see these Top Level files:
1. \App_LocalResources
2. \Providers
3. Contacts.ascx
4. DNN_Contacts.dnn.config
5. EditCOntacts.ascx
6. Uninstall.SqlDataProvider

Could I export that? Or am I allowed to? By the way, I'm new to DNN.

sorry, Contacts has been deprecated in DNN 3.1 times, about 4 years ago. you should consider using a different module (e.g. Form and List) and moving the data over to its tables (which is a bit tricky, I concede.

Hi Sebastian, You're really really good :) Thank you very much. It was just now that I've seen the extension forge on the DNN Community. I found it googling the DNN Form Module you were talking about. Nice! Cheers, Jan

By the way, does the Form and List module has the functionality like the contacts wherein we could receive messages?
