I can independently confirm this: http://web3.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/398043/scope/posts/Default.aspx I wrote the above thread thinking it was an admin/config error on my part, only to find that it's a version/upgrade problem.

There was a slight change in permisisons in 5.6 due to an issue with the granular permissions available in Professional Edition.  I am reviewing the issue you reported to see if both use-cases can be supported given the permission model we have (a combination of permissions AND SecurityAccessLevel).

In 5.6 - the SecurityAccessLevel for these functions was lowered from Admin (which requires Page Edit rights) to Edit which only requires the appropriate Module Edit right.

I noticed this yesterday with some various modules, but since I mostly use v4 still I just thought it was something new in v5.

As I understand it, this would affect all DNN sites out there on v5.6?
