I recently upgraded my DNN installation to 5.5 and then upgraded the Forums module to 5.0, but it still looks like the old style forums module. The installation for the module was successful, but I'm not sure why it's still showing the old version. When I create a new forum module on a different page, just to test it, it shows up as the new forum. What should I do now?

I'm in the same situation. Not able to find any theme setting in forum settings.
In settings the two forums look the same, the old and new forum. The old one have the old look, new one have the new look.
The old forum was created before the forum module was upgrdaded. That's probably the reason, anyway to update it to use the new look?

Go to the admin control panel of the module, then expand the Users section and select User Interface. The theme selection and settings are located there.

I had this same issue. Go to Host > Settings, scroll to the bottom and click Restart Application.
