Hi guys,

This is probably one of the most bizarre experiences i've had with DNN....

I've been running this site for a while now and yesterday I completed a skin change with some additional pages, including a new homepage (deleted old one). The new homepage has a different name so I selected it as splash and home in site settings, but then I noticed that after I deleted old home, DNN is looking for Home.aspx instead of the one I set up. I had home.aspx in recycle bin (default page after clean installation) so I went ahead and deleted it from there. And the site started throwing this error (see below) when I try to access domain directly.

I tried creating home.aspx again so I can just redirect, but it doesn't work... but all pages work when u type direct url (e.g. www.mydomain.com/contacts). On top of that, I noticed that when I enter the domain with "www" it worked fine with google chrome, but not other browsers. I have all possible aliases (www, http://, http://www) and still only works with "www" in chrome. I restarted the application and still doesn't work. I've never had this trouble before.

Temporarily I just uploaded an html to redirect to direct URL for my intended homepage.

Any suggestions??? this is really frustrating.

PS: the home page shouldn't be selected as splash screen.

As I said before I restarted application like 10 times and nothing :(

PS: What's the difference between splash and home in this case?

splash is used on first access, when calling www.yourdomain.com only. Which DNN version are you running, do you have multiple languages installed?
