We publish a hard-copy monthly magazine, which comprises a set of articles each written by a different author.

Our DNN website includes a single Blog which contains all the articles from all the magazines.  This provides great retrieval capabilities (for example by month or by classification).  To achieve this, a notional user "Southern Trails" has been made the author of the Blog.  See Publications at www.st4wdc.org . The downside is that there is no attribution or click-through to the real author of each Blog Entry.

To support this at the database level, a UserID column would need to be added to the Blog_Entries table, plus supporting logic which I'm guessing would be mainly about access permissions.

see on this site, how you may achieve a joint blog (like http://www.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/825/default.aspx) and blogs by every individual author (like the project microsites used to have.

Thanks Sebastian

I can see the results, which may be a perfect fit for what we want, but cannot work out how the results have been achieved!

How do I set up a Joint Blog?  (Sorry - there may be a manual but I've been playing with Events for so long, I've forgotten about manuals)

Cheers, Richard
