Thanks,
been there, done that,
machine keys, browser cache, did all that before posting
no way to restart application as I can't login.

This is the first time an upgrade failed for me, sooo,
I have several other sites to upgrade,
so I am going to re download the upgrade package, finish downloading
my sites for backup, and restore the broken site when the hosting company gets around to restoring my db.

some things make sense now, some later.
I re downloaded the upgrade files, and last time I unzipped from a network drive, this time I saw some errors
so I downloaded to a local(machine) drive and un blocked the file, on the network drive it did not need it.
somewhere in all this I hope there is a cure.
If there was an error in the un zipping proces, I wonder I I can reupload the upgrade package and re run it?

I am having a banner day...

Threw the following error:

SqlException

However, logging into the site it says it is now 5.06.  Seems to work ok, guess I will wait for
"pigs to fly" ...

otoh; with enough external velocity applied, even pigs can fly.

Any comment/help appreciated, I am not seeing these errors being reported by others for 5.06.
