When edit product by using  feature, new calendar fields show. After selecting two calendar date, I always got the error: Calendar * Sale start date is required. Error! Please enter a valid date.

Thanks

Hi Hy,

Could you please specify the Store version used?

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles, I have noticed this in at least 2.01.45 and think I remember seeing this in 2.01.44 as well .46

I noticed it if you had a product marked as featured, then it seemed to require a date to be entered.  If you turn off featured then it didn't ask for a start/end date.

I know in the stable release it didn't ask for a date when a product was featured.  I thought the start/end date was only used if you wanted to use special pricing.

Slipped my mind to mention this to you.

Thanks!

Jonathan

Gilles,
I just downloaded Store_02.01.46_Install (befofore I user.45), they have the same error for me. On screen, it only displays "Error! Please enter a valid date." But when I copied them and pasted into the nodepad, it displayes "* Sale start date is required. Error! Please enter a valid date.".

Thanks

Hy

Hi Hy,

It works for me both with 02.01.45 and 02.01.46!? When I check the 'Featured' setting in the product form, enter a price and two dates (start and end), I can save my changes without error. I tested both in English and French because we have different date formats and it works.
