Hello all,

I am having serious performance issues with the News Feeds module (version 4.0.1). I am using it to aggregate Announcements module's RSS from my own site, and it takes about 12 seconds to generate a page with News Feeds (the size of RSS feed being aggregated is 10KB, RSS itself is generated for 15ms).

I have created a page with XML/XSL module configured with the same settings as my News Feeds module (same XML source, same XSLT file, same XSL params), and it takes just 180 milliseconds to generate. So performance difference is almost 100 times.
Both modules were configured not to use caching at any level (neither XML caching nor output caching).

Has anyone else had similar performance problems? Or maybe there is some configuration trick to speed up aggregation?

Thanks.
