There seems to be a problem with DNN HTML Module Version 5.6.0 for DNN 5.6.0

1.   Having set up a Role 'editor' to be able to edit the HTML module.
I have set the HTML module settings to give the 'editor' role permission to edit the module. However this also gives the 'editor' permission to delete the module, move to seperate pane, and also gives access to the settings. How can I simply limit the amount of access to these other features for the 'editor' role. I only need them to edit the HTML module, and not have the ability to delete it or move it.

2.  When I create HTML module on a page, and set the module to 'Show on all pages', the HTML Module does get displayed on all pages - but without the settings (eg Hide container) of the parent module. Every page has the container showing, except for the original. How can I make sure the settings are the same on all HTML modules on all pages, without having to go to every page.

1. this is a known issue in DNN 5.6.0, not related or limited to the HTML module 2. "Show on all Pages" is affected by Content Localization enhancements Hopefully, both issues will be fixed in DNN 5.6.1

Hi Sebastian, Can you confirm for sure if the issue #1 is scheduled for 5.6.1? I reviewed the road map for 5.6.1 and 5.6.2 and couldn't see it. This issue is quite a show-stopper for me as it allows regular users to delete/reconfigure parts of the site ! :)

Laurence, the issue has been entered into Gemini as a show stopper, but it depends on the development team, when they are going to fix it. I agree that this is a significant bug.

Hi again,
I found DNN-14571 - Module Editors have Page Editor access in Gemini - is this the one you meant?

This has Major status, not Show Stopper. I put in a comment requesting this is elevated to Show Stopper status. Personally, this bug means I cannot risk using DNN 5.6.0 at all, which I was looking forward to doing.
