After i upgraded dnn it will not let me log into the portal, i did a password reminder email and when i recive it, its all *******

I need to be able to log back into this production server, any suggestions would be great

please make sure, the machinekey in your web.config file has not changed, otherwise you need to reset passwords of all users. Host passwords are never sent, please follow these steps to regain access: http://www.deutschnetnuke.de/tabid/183/Default.aspx

What should the machine key be?

I have tried that fix in the descritpion and none of those tables are there Any other suggestions

the machine key should be the same random generated value as before you applied the upgrade. get it from the file and database backup, you made before starting the upgrade (if you didn't made a backup, bless you).
