Is there a way the URLControl can take the setting at Admin :: Users >> User Settings, setting to provide user list as dropdown instead of text input box in a more general manner and not just in the role-administration?

In UDT / Form and list module I would like to be able to select a user in a dropdown instead of having to type the username but the setting does not apply here.
