I'm trying to install under medium trust for the first time on fasthosts.co.uk shared hosting plan.

When i try to run install I just get the following error:

HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error

The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid.

Try "classic" mode and "32bits compatibility" on the application pool configuration.

Thanks for that, I've sent a support request to the hosting company asking if this is possible. Is there any other solutions if not? They don't seem to be much help so far in answering support requests. Are there any alterations to the web.config that may help.

OK, fasthosts now tell me they don't support DotNetNuke on their shared hosting plans, and this is after contacting their technical pre-sales customer service to confirm that they do before buying hosting from them. So unless anyone knows of a workaround to the above error without changes to the server I'll be looking for another hosting company. Can anyone recommend a UK based host for DNN? I'm in New Zealand so not really very familiar with UK hosts. Thanks heaps.
