I'd like to use a contact from I've used on non-DNN pages,  where you design the form online and then they give you the HTML and a JavaScript file to
add to your page.  Can I just paste this into a RADEditor  module, and have everything get wired up and work automatically? Is there a tutorial somewhere on adding JavaScript to DNN pages?

Thanks,
Steve A

There are a number of things that could impact this, you an post some script in the editor, but for security there are a few things that will be removed.

The other thing to think about is that if the snippet has a "Form" tag in it, you will have to modify the code to get it to work. I have a blog post about this available at - http://www.mitchelsellers.com/blogs/articletype/articleview/articleid/45.aspx

Ah yes! The problem of DNN itself being a form and ASP.NET only allowing one. Actually, I got around this last week with a different form by putting it in an IFrame, (thanks Sebastian) and I thought I would do that again. (I read your blog last week and got the form off with that information but the 8000-byte VIEWSTATE that also got posted made the target reject the form, so I had to go the IFrame route.)

But where can I find more information on getting some JavaScript into a DNN page? I've gone through four books now on DNN and haven't come across any treatment.

Thanks,
Steve A
