Hello,

I am wondering if DNN has the ability, especially with HTML modules, either in DNN Pro or Community to lock pages while editing. This way, someone can make changes without worrying if someone else is also making changes to the page.

In addition, I want to know if an email can be sent if the page is being edited.

Thank so much for your time.

Regards,
Christopher Koeber

I don't know if latest versions of DNN including DNN Pro have this ability but our module ModuleWorkflow could do the job since DNN 4.8.1. It also allows you to send notification emails.

DotNetNuke 5.6.0 Professional added the ability to lock the HTML module while editing if you are using any workflow except direct publish.  This ensures that whenever you have content that is in the middle of editing or getting approval, that no one else can overwrite your changes.

Thanks so much for your information. I'll keep your module in mind.

This is awesome. Exactly what I was looking for here. Thanks.
