My Login and Register 'buttons' are on the same line as all my other links. They look just like my "Home", "About Us, button, etc.  I'd like to move Login and register to a place on the site that would be similar to the way this site is. How do I move my Login and Register buttons?

do you mean, your Login and Register commands are currently just items in the menu and you would like to display it in another place of the site's skin?

The placement of the links for "Register" and "Login" are determined by the location of their respective skin objects on the page's or portal's default skin. If they are currently appearing as menu items, custom register and login pages must have been previously created.

You might try switching to the default MinimalExtropy skin included with the DotNetNuke packages or checkout some of the free skins submitted for last year's Skinning Contest and which are now available for download from CodePlex. Here's a link to a summary page with links to all of these free skins: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/1435/...

1000's of other skins are available (in various price ranges) at  http://www.snowcovered.com

If you are interested in creating your own skin's, Joe Brinkman's recent Skinning Tutorials may be of assistance - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/B...

Yes, that's what I meant. As William said, it's possible that custom register and login pages were previously created. I didn't start from scratch. A friend did some setting up for me to get me started with DNN. I made my own skin using Artisteer and had a login place in the lower left column, but when I added the skin to the site, the login and register commands remained as items in my horizontal menu and I don't like them there.

How can I move Login and Register now so that it shows up in an area like this page shows?
