I'm just getting started with DNN (5.6). I'm looking for book recommendations to get me going with DNN. Something along the lines of DNN for dummies.

Here are things that I'm interested in...

-Installing, upgrading/updating
-Basic Server and SQL database related maintenence with DNN (Things like restarting Apps, initializing, syncronizing, or anything else needed to keep DNN moving smoothly on the server side of things). I'll be using virtual hosting, but need some basics in this department for maintaining my DNN. I'm new to IIS as well.
-looking at logs/error reports and having some concept as to basic issues/patterns
-Scheduled tasks
-Developing skins/Containers for my use
-Installing and Adding modules to a page
-Copying pages with the same instance of modules included, and copying pages with a new instance of an existing module
-Info on some of the more common DNN "sponsored" modules like Events, Html, Iframe, etc.
-Caching settings and Optimization recommendations (for speed/performance).
-Troubleshooting
-Recommended development tools (such as OpenWebstudio).

Additional interests are:

-Module development for my use

Anyway, mostly I'm looking for a very solid starter book, but with enough flesh to help me keep DNN up and running, and allow me to add things as I go (skin/module development).

For my background (to give you an idea as to what kind of book I'm looking for): I'm using virtual hosting, as I've done for the past 10 years or so with non DNN sites. I've selected a host with good DNN experience. I'm new to ASPX (and many newer things such as JQuery, AJAX) as well as new to having control over the server settings/Windows IIS. Amongst other things, I am experienced developing (by hand essentially) with ASP, javascript, html, and Windows based databases via the web (particularly Access, some limited SQL). I have a better than average understanding of piecing a very complex website together, but these components/language, and DNN are new to me. I'll be handling everything beyond the base hosting. I do not plan on doing a lot of hand coding with ASP.net, beyond skinning, and one or two smaller modules for my own use. So, I won't need heavy lessons in ASP.net, but I will need enough to get me through the skinning/module basics. Everything else will come through DNN, or 3rd party modules I've already researched (thoroughly).

IMHO the best book ATM is also the most recent one: "DotNetNuke 5.4 Cookbook" from Packt Publishing. I might not be neutral, because I have been involved in technical reviews, but I really like the outcome, I provided more details here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryId/2882/DotNetNuke-5-4-Cookbook-My-First-Contribution-to-a-DNN-Book.aspx

Thanks Sebastian - I'll definitely take a look.

Two other things I should add...

1) I have interest in the newer taxonomy features.
2) I'm also interested in printable online books/manuals/pdf's if those happen to be a better solution. I prefer a book format, but I can always print off a pdf. In theory, the advantage of the pdf setup is it "could" be more up to date.

Essentially I'm trying to get to the best lump of "getting started" material, written (somewhat) with a newbie in mind, coupled with the more essential general material.

Thanks WIll. Keep 'em coming.

If there's a link to a website that suggests such resources for newbies, that would be great too. Ultimately, I want to be able to print something out, or own a book to have it in my hands.

Is there a good printable user manual that a newbie can understand - and would that be recommended over a book, or is it lacking?
