Hi,

In my app, I have configured some custom Event Log Types.  I am able to successfully add items to the EventLog table and view the items using the Log Viewer.  This works OK.

However, I am not able to send e-mails with details of the Event Log items.  Please see the configuration settings for one of the custom Event Log Types here:

Also please note that all other e-mails in my DNN 5.5.1 portal work just fine (i.e. SMTP is configured correctly).

Any idea why this does not work?

Update - after enabling Send Log Notifications in Host/Schedule - the e-mail with the event information does get sent.

However, the text from the event e-mail has no line breaks:

Description A variance explanation has been approved. User SuperUser Account Date Wednesday, December 29, 2010 8:14 AM Cost Center 1199 Category ID 811 Category Name Test Category Variance Amount (1,365)

******************************

This format will be unacceptable to my client - it is not readable and requires line breaks between the event log properties.  Would I have to make a change to the core to format the event e-mail with line breaks?  If so, where would I have to make changes to the format of the e-mail?
