Hello,

I've been reading a lot of great advice from everyone and have a question that I tried to search on first.

I'm looking to integrate custom sql databases on my site and need a module that will allow me to query and display records based on table joins etc.  There's millions of records in some cases and some complex joins.  I'd also like the user to add some data and post back to save in rare cases.

I've been looking through Indoogrid and Xmod Pro and Dynamic Forms, but not sure which one would fit the best.  Data Collection is a minor point to what I'm doing, it's more about the queries and record display that I'm looking to have the flexibility and speed.

I'm okay with SQL statements but very limited in other programming syntax.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

it depends on your needs - another options would be using sqlgridselected view from www.tressleworks.ca.

To display record and provide search feature, you can check whether the advance data grid module http://www.efficionconsulting.com/dotnetnuke/modules/advanced-datagrid module works for you. I think it is free and if require then you can update the code.

Another I would recommend looking at is OpenWebStudio.  Incredibly flexible and powerful, free opensource too.
There's a Quickbuilder in it and a video tutorial to show how to get this running quickly and easily.

You can also use our DotNetMushroom RAD - lets you connect to any SQL database, even non-DotNetNuke ones
