When testing out the event viewer logs and trying to send them through this admin area to my email account I get the following error:

When attempting to send an exception received this error.

A critical error has occurred.
The process cannot access the file 'D:\www-root\DNN_Instance01\Portals\0\errorlog.xml' because it is being used by another process.


However... the email does come through. Any ideas?

which DNN version are you using? does the error occur permanently?

are you able to access the file via file manager and e.g. move it?

yes... I am wondering since clearing the log file it things might work better. It could be myu imagination but after running those truncate scripts you gave me in the other thread if they helped speed up things... all my sites seem much more responsive after doing this.
