Hi,

I am facing oen probelm. Actually i have setting of my website friendly url to use human friendly urls by using following settings in web.config,

<

friendlyUrl defaultProvider="DNNFriendlyUrl">providers>clear/>add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider,
DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" urlFormat="humanfriendly"/>providers>friendlyUrl>

it does work for me. like if my page name is testpage. the url will be http://mytestsite/testpage.aspx.

Now my site is dual language with English and Arabic interface. I used DS Locale Selector on each page.
Still it take me to other language page, but url is no more humanfriedly it is like http://mytestsite/tabid/10/language/en-US/testpage.aspx.

I want to use human friendly url again.

What is solution of this issue?

Moreover  i can not see Language tab in HOST Menu.

Help me as soon as possible.

I would recommend looking at the URL Provider options from www.ifinity.com.au they will clean up your URLs a lot better than the core does

there are known issues with human friendly urls and parameters, including language parameter. UrlMaster may solve most of it. Language tab has been moved to Admin menu.

Agreed.

SEO Friendly URLs are a core part of most modern CMS systems.  Umbraco -- for example -- will automatically create URL's like www.yoursite.com/my_page OR they will let you select your own custom URL.  It's all right in the page settings.  Very easy.

DotNetNuke has a lot going for it, but custom URLs seem like a glaring omission.
