I recently became aware of the updated control panel ribbon styles and wanted to try one. I selected the lats option under ribbon styles and it has broken my site. Below it looks like there is suppose to be a optimized style within my website but as you can see, it does not exist. I am an upgrade from around 4 versions back. My website has been down for around two weeks now and I would really appreciate a solution as promptly as possible.

FYI I tried creating the directory myself and copying the default aspx to that directory and then renaming it to the optimized. I'm sure you can guess that it still didn't like it, but hey, it was worth a shot.

This would be really easy if I could just go back to the default setting by changing it manually.

Also, why wouldn't the DNN community come up with a failsafe when something like this happens to revert back to old settings, like on the error page as an option?

Also sorry if this is in the wrong place, shouldn't there be a forum marked as support / help? Perhaps I am just missing where its location is.

this is the error generated:

Hi
You need to either upload the missing OptimizedBar.ascx file to relevant folder or you can revert to standard icon bar by changing the entry in the database.
You should back up the database before making any changes.
Connect to the database using SQL Server Management Studio, in the tables look for dbo.HostSettings and change the SettingValue in ControlPanel row from  "Admin/ControlPanel/RibbonBar.ascx" to  "Admin/ControlPanel/iconbar.ascx"
This should revert the bar to standard icon bar.

Thank you so much. I just reverted back to the old ribbon, I think I'll leave working well enough alone until I actually have time.

Thanks again!
