Hi

Just thought I would outline how to enable popup window for the the benefit of the community. For most I guess it would be easy-peasy; but  for the less savy DNN user it might prove somewhat challenging; esp given finding an explanation how to do, for what I suspect is a pretty common need, is not easy - well it was not for me.

1. Go to http://www.quackit.com/javascript/popup_windows.cfm which is an excellent resource that truly "de-mystifys" technologies very quickly (The guy has a particular gift for speed teaching!)

2. Insert the pop up function script into your skin. I did this directly at the ascx level and did ftp for sake of ease.

3. Add call for function into the module using html provided at quackit.

4. Change parameters and variables to suit.

QED

I suppose someone is going to say that new browser technology blocks popups; but i did test on Firefox lastest and I/E 7.0 (slow) and all ok.

Hope this helps.
