I am trying to add several social networking icons (images) to the bottom of each page on my site.  Each one would be linked to the respective site of course.

When ever I add the images to the Text/HTML module everything looks fine (even when I view the source code), but when I update the site the url of the homepage is added before the link address.

For example instead of www.facebook.com/companywebsite it reads http://www.companywebsite.com/Home/tabid/36/www.facebook.com/companywebsite.

Any ideas?

asp.net will act like this if you forgot to put the "http://" in front of your link destination in your anchor tag. It looks like that is the case in your situtaion based on the example you provided. Notice it put www.facebook.com instead of http://www.facebook.com, that leads me to believe the link is not correctly formatted.

Try putting an "http://" in front of the "www.facebook.com" in your anchor tag.

Let me know if this helps.

Thank you so much Kelly!  That was exactly the problem I was having.

Everything is working now.  I knew it had to be something dumb on my part - it was driving me nuts!

Thanks again.
