That is the intended behavior as the Admin Section of the Gallery configuration contains settings such as Root URL which should only be changed by users who have portal wide Administrators role permissions. Settings in that section should for the most part be configured only once when initially placing an instance of the Gallery module on a page.

What configuration settings do you need page or module editors to be able to access?

Thank you William for your response. In my scenario; I' allowed pages editors to use Gallery module if they want to place in their created pages. Now If they try to place Gallery module to page they can not set the root path for the module and I can not assign them administrator role because of security measures. What should I do now.

The default RootURL of Portals/<PortalID>/Gallery/<ModuleID>/ should be fine in this situation. To grant a non-administrator's role user to set the RootURL is even more of a security issue in this situation as it could then be pointed anywhere within the Portals/<PortalID>/ folder and could even be used as a means of accessing the galleries associated with other Gallery modules or users.

this may lead to confusions for my users to remember module ids. Isn't any other solution to this. I created a layer of discipline among selected users and allotted them separate folders on the root keep their files. I know system would not recommend it by any mean but here is my case I supposed to do so because everyone is known to each other in my company. I want them to set the path themselves so that the workload upon admins may reduce.
