Can anyone give me any insights to the Rich Text Editor that you get when you use the Text/HTML module in DNN v. 3.2.2?

I have been trying to copy content from a Web Site managed by Front Page and IIS.  The HTML code doesn't appear correctly after it has been pasted into the Rich Text Editor.

Can someone give me some insight to this?

FrontPage is a bit like Word it adds a lot of extra tags that are Front Page specific.
Try searching for a tool that can clean the HTML so you are only left with the standard tags.
Sorry I have used some in the past but cannot remember the names at the moment

Does anyone know of a tool that will clean up your HTML to strip out all the extra stuff inserted by Front Page and/or MS-Word?

I've viewed some pretty elaborate DNN web sites out there.  Are people just using the built-in Text/HTML module and standard tags to do all their design work?

Or does this invlove the various containers and skins?

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

switch over to fckeditor (you can get it for free with dnn provider from Locopon's), it has an "insert word clean" button.
