Hi all, I have this strange dilema now and cannot see why this is happening...

Scenario: there are two text boxes and a dropdownlist on a usercontrol (part of my module) plus update and delete buttons. 

At runtime, the user selects an item from the dropdownlist (this is correctly populated on Load) then enters text in the two textboxes. When the user clicks the update button, the objInfo object is assigned the values from said controls.

Problem: none of the text input in the textboxes or the value selected in the dropdownlist actually come though! They all seem to be empty or 0 values and nothing the user input.

I believe this is because the Page_Load runs before the updatebtn_click event runs, consequently resetting/clearing data input by the user before it is used.

This might seem obvious to most of you but I've tried all sorts of things in code AND followed examples and cannot see why this is now happening as it did work a while ago. Backtracking to the old code doesn't seem to help either which is also strange.

ANY ideas?
