First of all please check that your page is not using an old version of javascript (i.e. force a refresh via CTRL+F5 or clear your browser temporary internet files). If that does not resolve it, you'll need to access your database and get the latest entries to the eventlog table as they'll give a clearer indication of what the issue may be.

Thanks for the Tip, but this was not the error. I restored it to Version 5.6.0 from my Backup. I just wont upgrade it right now. Perhaps the next Update will work.

I have a similar problem.
Upgrade from 5.6.0 goes well, but a new fresh installation gives error at the end of the process, when the new site is constructed.

Error An error has occurred.
An error has occurred.

The following line is the url of the error page:
Default.aspx?tabid=41&error=Unexpected+end+of+file+while+parsing++has+occurred.+Line+1%2c+position+173.&content=0

From the evenlog table it seems an error reading an xml file.
Thank you for help.
Cheers
Angelo
