I am trying not to be a pest, however after reveiwing the DNN WIKI, I cannot find anything to assist me in dealing with a PHP issue.  Using the HTML module I am copying in PHP script in, and after saving it changes the script automatically from:
 <?PHP
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
?>

TO:
<---p
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
-->

I am trying to call data from a remote server with scripts provided by the developer for a poker program, to show chip leader status.  I can provide full script if that will help.

WIth my experience, you can not insert php or any other scripts in HTML module.

is there another module, or methodolgy that can be used?  I was thinking of saving my php's as html files, and using iframe, however I believe I would have to allow html uploads......

it is not possible to have PHP scripts execute INSIDE a running asp.net application as such.  Basically, you are either running asp.net OR php - the web server has not way to process both in the same request cycle.

But this does beg the question - what exactly are you trying to do or achieve with these php scripts - seems to me like you need to rethink how you want to do things.

I see the problems, and I have already begun rethinking the entire vision.  What I am trying to do, is pull information from a poker server I have installed on my home server, to be displayed by means of API's on my hosted server.  They are simple ideas, such as a leader board for the participating in weekly/monthly tournaments.  This "poker room" is strictly at no cost to registered users of our site, and intended for clients, friends & family to enjoy a serious game of poker.  A marketing tool, if you will, and hiopefully I will be able to award prizes as part of our advertising program, such as discounts, paid entry fees to industry conventions, etc...etc.  For now, I am going to fall back on not worrying about it, and will likely start a linux based site for this end purpose.  Too bad, there is not a handler, or other method out there the translate the PHP actions, but at the end of the day I really like the power and flexibility DNN offers.
