Hi

Can anyone offer please offer me any advice on the following issue, my website has been running fine for nearly 12 months now, however today all of a sudden when i navigate to my url www.totalrecyclingservicec.co.uk, i get the following message,

This site is currently Unavailable

Please check back later

The address is resolving to the following url, my hosting company are reluctant to provide any support and are stating this a DNN error which i find hard to believe as the site was running fine yesterday.

http://www.totalrecyclingservices.co.uk/Install/UnderConstruction.htm

Can anyone offer any advice on probable causes for this error?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Liam

This is unfortunately a very generic error message. Things that can cause this include issues communicating with the database (have received this MANY times when there was a database issue), it can be from one or more corrupted files, etc.  The best way to trouble shoot is to verify the website can communicate with the database server, then check the servers even logs (your hosting company would have to do that for you in most cases).  I hope this helps.

The first thing you need to check is the Application Pool, ask you host to recycle it OR simply edit the web.config file and save it, this will cause application pool to restart.

If your are using IIS6 then open IIS manager, right click on your website and select "Browse" option, As it may displays page with detailed error. Or You may change the customerror mode="Off" in web.config file and can see the detail error.
