Hello,

I've been facing an issue with the portal aliases, aliases keep getting added as users browse the website they're even links to images in the portal.

I've tried tracing this behavior and came up empty handed.

Any help would be appreciated .

If you are currently running DotNetNuke 5.06.00, the problem is with changes that were made to the UrlRewriteModule to implement automatic portal alias mapping. Some, but not all, of those issues such as for .png images were fixed in the DNN 5.06.01 which was released last week.

I apologize in advance for hijacking this thread - mine has had many views, but zero comments. This will be my only post here, and please post any responses on my thread.

I posted here to be sure that you saw my question, Bill, as I think you may have my answer.  My issue is also related to the new UrlRewriter in 5.06 and up.

Here's my thread: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/795/f...
