I am working in in dnn4.0.3.I am trying to retrieve data from resource file programmatically. I have used Me.GetLocalResourceObject(“ResourceKey as string”).When I run this code in asp.net project it is giving me satisfied answer. But When I am trying to incorporate the code in DNN it is giving error: resource file not found.

there is a text box txtServerName in Settings.ascx ....

in resx I have written txtServerName.Text="localhost"

Can anybody solve the problem? It is urgent

I'm not sure I understand what you're going for. You'll typically use the resource files in two ways: (1) specify the resourcekey attribute in a label control; or, (2) obtain a value using Localization.GetString("resourcekey", LocalResourceFile) in the code-behind.

Thanks for your reply.I am trying to retrieve data from .resx file through code behind in DNN 4.0.3.When I have tried the same thing in asp.net project it was working well with the function Me.LocalResourceFile .But in Dotnetnuke it was not working.I have used Localization.GetString("resourcekey", LocalResourceFile) as you said.I am getting value from .resx file now. Thanks again fo your reply.
