I am new to DNN and I'd like to know how others have done this before me.

Thanks,

Patrick

I do it this way, but this presumes you want to track everywhere that particular skin is used under the same analytics account which may or may not be suitable for your situation.

Thanks. Yes I do want it every place the site is hit. I assume if I have one site one portal your fix is good.

OK. Now feel free to talk down to me but... where would I begin to find this 'skin' file you mentioned? I am looking around in the 'Website' directory that I uploaded on my site and nothing is showing up.

Thanks,

P

Well that depends on how you installed the skin you are using, but it will be

DNN4\Website\Portals\_default\Skins\MySkinName

or

DNN4\Website\Portals\0\Skins\MySkinName

where 0 is the PortalId of the aforementioned portal

Right now all I am using is the Yellow theme that came with it. And I have both of those directories you mentioned.
